Lucero Tabs: She Wakes When She Dreams

About This Blog

I started this blog because the tabs on the Lucero message board kept getting lost when they switched sites. A blog isn't a perfect forum for guitar tabs and chords, but it now has posts for all but a handful of their songs. And, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only source for Lucero tabs that has been endorsed by an actual Lucero guitarist. Accept no substitutes.

Unknown said...: try this (take 2) rather than just strumming the open A string in the verse, add the 7th fret of the D string with it...

then, when the chorus comes up, try adding the 7th D again like so...

I'm not sure I hear the the extra notes when Ben plays it, but I definitely think adding the octave notes fleshes it out nicely, especially for the A parts. The open D on the E part doesn't work for me, though. That'd make it some sort of mutant E7. I think the right move there, if you're looking to augment it, is to add the 5th note by playing the D string at the 9th fret (a B note).; April 30, 2009 at 10:45 AM

Noah said...: John, I don't know. I've never spent more than a few minutes playing around with a harmonica. I imagine you could arrange something close, though.
