I believe that someone called Guitar Greg posted the main riff for this on the Lucero board.
The only part of this song that is straight chords is the chorus, where they play power chords. Both Ben and Brian play repeating riffs over the verses. I numbered the riff parts and matched them up to the lyrics, just in case anybody needs them.
Guitar 1 Verse:

About This Blog
I started this blog because the tabs on the Lucero message board kept getting lost when they switched sites. A blog isn't a perfect forum for guitar tabs and chords, but it now has posts for all but a handful of their songs. And, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only source for Lucero tabs that has been endorsed by an actual Lucero guitarist. Accept no substitutes.
Thank you to the folks who have sent me submissions, suggestions, and corrections. Thanks also to anyone who posted a tab on the luceromusic.com boards. You can find me there posting as Boston Twang. You can also email me at lucerotabs@gmail. Submissions and/or corrections are greatly appreciated.
Holy shit! That's how that goes... www.lucerotabs.blogspot.com

General Thoughts on Lucero Chords
Ben seems to favor chord variations that fret the B string at the third fret. If a C, Em, G, or A doesn't seem quite right, try:
Cadd9 (x32030), Em7 (022030), G (320033), Asus (x02230)
Also, I think he leaves the E string open on a lot of his D chords (xx0230).

It sounds to me like the guitar part goes twice as fast as is suggested here.
For example:
Part 1 Part 2
I think I'll just stay right down here on this floor
Part 3 Part 4
Cuz if I get back up I'll only fall down more
Part 1 Part 2
It ain't the liquor, it ain't the beer that keeps me down
Part 3 Part 4
It ain't the sad sounds and heartache, ain't even this town
If the font doesn't work out right, that's Part 1 at the beginning of the first line; Part 2 at "this floor"; Part 3 at the beginning of the second line; Part 4 at "fall down more"; etc.
Sorry to be so lame, but for us guitarist 101'ers could someone put the actual chords in? Thanks in advance :-)
